Lighthouses of New England
This unique long-weekend program will include talks on the fascinating history of New England's lighthouses, with a focus on the dramatic and colorful stories of the lives of lighthouse keepers and their families. Multimedia presentations will include many recent photos along with historic images and video clips. The tales will range from shipwrecks and storms to heroic lighthouse pets, and even a ghost story or two. Trips to view local area lighthouses, as well as your accommodations at historic Whitehead Light Station, are all included in this program.
